We’re looking for a talented Digital designer to be a part of our team at Etain. You’ll be responsible for the design and brand experience of cutting edge digital applications and websites. As a Digital designer you will need to be highly motivated and able to move quickly from project to project. We expect you to push yourself and your design skills to create visually stunning and engaging interfaces that truly enhance the user’s experience.

Required:

- A 2:1 or higher in a relevant design discipline

- Solid user interface design experience

- Strong conceptual thinking

- 3+ years in a digital design related role

- Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviours and translate them into actionable deliverables

- Good organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

- Must be a self-starter who will bring original ideas and fresh approaches to each project they work on.

- Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web-based applications

- Ability to collaborate with other designers and developers to envision and iterate concepts

- A strong portfolio showcasing some of your most recent digital design projects

- Strong understanding of branding and interface design.

- Strong wireframing and prototyping skills in application such as UXpin

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign)

Desired:

- Agency design experience

- Traditional design for print and advertising skills

- HTML 5 and CSS skills

- Understanding of UX and best practices
