The position will work with a number of stakeholders across Engineering, Enterprise Systems, Product, and Security. We are looking for individuals with a strong technical background, who have a focus on security and user-centric product offerings. The team will build upon existing eCommerce infrastructure, using PHP and JavaScript to accessible product-specific APIs.

Position Description:

- Design and develop new eCommerce offerings that are inherently secure, testable, and customer friendly

- Maintain, support, and extend existing eCommerce offerings

- Utilise PHP, JavaScript and 3rd party APIs to offer innovative eCommerce services

- Apply best practices in security, web technology, and user experience in your design, implementation, and test approach

- Work with other departments and colleagues at all levels to make sure that the customers’ needs are always put first

- Effectively plan and control your work stack to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeframes and to the highest standard

- Actively develop own skills and knowledge to ensure that the eCommerce team is always aware of emerging security threats, and applying industry best practices

Essential Criteria:

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or related field

- Proven track record of delivering web-based technology

- Highly competent in HTML, PHP, and JavaScript

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business

- Understanding of security threats to web-based technologies

- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills

- Ability to document designs, APIs, and process execution

Desirable, but not Essential, Criteria:

- Experience of integration with NetSuite via API

- Experience of integration with SalesForce via API

- Experience of integration with Magento via API
