The Role

We are seeking an experienced backend developer proficient in Supabase to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in architecting and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our Flutterflow/Flutter-based application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, particularly with PostgreSQL and Supabase, and a proven track record of implementing backend logic and APIs for frontend applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize the database schema in Supabase, ensuring data integrity and performance. 

• Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and aggregation. 

• Implement backend business logic to support user authentication, authorization, and application workflows. 

• Develop and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs to enable communication between the frontend and backend. 

• Leverage Supabase's real-time capabilities to enable live updates and notifications in the frontend application. 

• Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate backend functionalities seamlessly into the Flutterflow/Flutter application.

  
  

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a tech-savvy individual with:

• Proficiency in Supabase and PostgreSQL, with experience in setting up and managing databases. 

• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and database performance tuning. 

• Experience in backend development using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies. 

• Familiarity with RESTful or GraphQL API development and integration. 

• Understanding of real-time communication protocols and event-driven architectures. 

• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. 

• Good communication skills and the ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions.

• Self-driven, highly motivated, and eager to take on backend development tasks.
