What's The Role?

Dawson Andrews is on the lookout for a talented Designer to join our team. You'll be collaborating with our cross-functional teams (Designers, Engineers, Managers) to help deliver world class digital solutions to our clients.

At Dawson Andrews, our Designers are pretty efficient with front-end code. Nothing too fancy, just the ability to transform our designs into static websites when needed.

Client and service work is not all that we do. One of our goals over the coming year is to develop more in house products. So if you have any project ideas - we’d love to hear about them. An example of this would be Ripley Chat; a chatbot we built in house which is now being used across over 500 car dealership websites, including Used Cars NI.

Requirements

- 3+ years of Web/Digital Product Design experience, ideally in-house

- A strong portfolio

- Proficient in Sketch and Abstract

- Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional team

- The ability to accept feedback graciously and work towards resolving

- An eye for the detail

- Articulating your design decisions and explaining your ideas clearly

Nice To Have

- Experience prototyping designs in Framer.js or similar

- User-centered approach

- Experience with user research

- Experience creating complex design systems

- Experience with front-end web technologies (HTML, SCSS, Git)
