For this particular Product Management role we need the essentials:

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate insights

- Great problem solving with thoughtful approaches.

- Good business acumen; know how what you are doing will drive business outcomes 

You should also have technical depth with good data analysis experience (ideally with consumer web products).

It’d be great if you can calculate the significance of an A|B test, pinpoint the underlying factors contributing to a metric’s growth or decline. 

A base knowledge of machine learning and neural networks is desired but not required.

What you will be doing:

- Discover and validate problems in the market that Bazaarvoice can uniquely solve through research and experimentation

- Map needs with target markets and corporate strategy and identify the market opportunities to actively pursue

- Develop business cases, including financial models, and secure executive approval for investment

- Determine the most effective and efficient ways to deliver whole solutions to an identified market problem, including buy, build, partner decisions

- Lead Product Discovery, R&D and Early Adopter Programs to ensure product success

- Partner with Marketing and Sales to perform competitive analysis, develop product positioning and messaging, and pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals

- Provide really clear direction via business requirements, market requirements or user stories to your partners and team mates who rely on you to define the what to build, plan for and why

- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit 

Who You Are:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing of tech products

- Prefer BA/BS in Computer Science or MBA with product management specialisation

- Proven ability to work with engineering to ship products

- Knowledge Lean Product Management and Agile/Scrum Development methodologies

- Experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce technologies

- Undergraduate degree in related discipline required (MBA or Marketing/Business degree preferred)

- Entrepreneurial spirit for building new capabilities/businesses within an existing organisation

- Superior communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills; meeting facilitation and strong follow-up required

- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence, and work effectively in a cross-functional environment

- Drive to action and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

- 10-25% travel
