Global Startup Awards was born from the Nordic Startup Awards. It uses its competition framework and events to run programs across the current 11 regions covering 100+ countries. The organisation has its HQ in Budapest and a smaller team based in CPH.  Global Startup Awards is built as a franchise with some of its regions being operated by external organisations.
